Engineering for a public art installation in Zurich – Switzerland


Group of four art installations for a square in the historic center of Zurich, 3.2 meters high, completely in super mirror stainless steel in different thicknesses and shapes. The challenge of the project was developing meticulous production and assembly solutions, analysing even the smallest details to optimize production and to shorten assembly times. No mechanical joints are visible when the sculptures are fully assembled. The engineering process began from the sketching phase, to the cad details, up to the whole 3d mathematics and calculations.
